 <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Question

What does the expression “good things come to those who wait” mean to you and how have you seen this in your own life? Use examples and details to illustrate your response.

 <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Answer

I think “Good things come to those who wait” means that it is not always good to rush things. Those who are patient and wait will have the best end results. I saw this in my own life recently. My friend and I both needed to buy some things at the store, but when we got there the line was very long at the checkout counter. My friend did not want to wait, so he started walking back to our dorm. It takes 15 minutes to walk from our dorm to the store, but the line was so long my friend didn’t think it was worth it. I waited in line, and while I waited, I noticed it started raining very hard outside. After I paid for my things and left, it stopped raining. When I got back to the dorm, I noticed that my friend was soaking wet from head to foot. I was dry and had my items, but my friend was wet and still needed to go to the store. All of this because I waited.
