<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Answer
I think that teaching art to young children is mostly a
waste of time. I know it is done in hope to foster an
interest in art for the future, but how many children
actually end up that interested in art? I also think that
most of the art that a child learns about is from on their
own. What I mean is that they develop an interest in art on
their own. They should be given the choice to study about
art on their own when they are older. Once they get older,
they should be given class options: they can take art as an
elective if they choose. But, while the children are young,
they should concentrate on the more basic subjects that are
building blocks for higher education like math, science, and
language. These subjects are more important.
