I think the government should spend money exploring outer
space. I think it is exciting and there are so many things
yet to be discovered out there. Many people argue there are
homeless people, poor people, people who can’t afford to eat
everyday, all of whom are suffering in our own country. We
should use the money to help these people first because
these are things we can see and have to deal with every day.
I think there will always be problems at home and if we have
this attitude, we would never explore outer space because we
would always be dealing with these problems. But, if we
explore outer space, who knows, we could find solutions to
all these problems. Also, many helpful inventions come from
outer space funding. By spending money to explore outer
space, we could discover new things through our research.
